FAQs
-
Clothes. We're interested in seeing you grow not in your fancy clothes.
-
Don't worry Pastor Bryan will be there to greet you. We'll show you around. If you have questions, great, ask away.

Great question! Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not stop them. For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."
We welcome kids to worship and to grow with us. Don't worry if they wiggle or talk. If you feel they need a break, we have a family room set up for you. You can still watch the sermon and continue to participate in worship.
After worship there are Sunday School classes for all our little sprouts.

That's a great question and worth digging into!
Christianity is about Jesus Christ. Jesus told us to pray for His goal — “Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.”
That starts with God’s work - He gives us new hearts to love Him. We are people who desperately need His love and grace. He grows up His children. He unites us to Jesus. And He makes us bear fruit.
We’re a multigenerational church. We want to see your children rooted in their faith. We want to see your young people walking in the light of the Lord. We want to see you finish the race well.
Loving Jesus Christ. Everything starts with who He is and what He has done. He’s given us the greatest gift - himself. He’s saved us and loved us and given us His Holy Spirit. Do you desire to grow in that love?

Growing is tied to what Christians call discipleship - following, learning, and being changed. At Sharon this happens primarily in 3 ways - word, sacraments, and prayer. We grow more and more like Him when we are saturated with His word: reading, hearing, studying, meditating, memorizing, and even singing. We grow in our faith as we partake of the sacraments - the Lord’s Supper or Communion, and baptism. Lastly, we grow by praying. We pray as individually, as families, in our smaller groups, and every time we are together for worship. We pray for our needs, each other’s needs, our communities needs, and for needs around the world.
Life is about bringing God glory. Do you long to know Him and the power of His resurrection? Our desire is to see you, our community, and the world changed by the powerful working of His spirit.
You’ll notice a certain flavor about our church. It’s because there is a rich history we’re a part of called the Reformed Church. You can find out more about our denomination here: https://rpcna.com/
If you’re a reader and want to dig in more to exactly what we believe you can click here and read: The Reformed Faith as summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms: https://rpcna.org/history/constitution.pdf
For almost 175 years we have been committed to proclaiming the glory of Jesus Christ in Morning Sun.

We believe God has given us guidance for how He wants to be worshiped. So we keep it simple. We're aiming at the heart without missing the mind. We try to do what He's told us He likes. We pray to the Father in Jesus' name, we sing a capella about Jesus from the Bible (specifically from the Psalms), we read about Jesus in the Bible, and Pastor Bryan preaches about Jesus from the Bible.

Sprouts
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
We love our little sprouts. God has big plans for them and we are excited to see them grow!
Kids get to worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10 AM. We love hearing them participate.
Don’t worry about if the kiddos wiggle or make some noise. God is patient with all of us.
If the kids do need a break you can always head the family room. Don’t worry, the service is livestreamed into the room so you’ll still be able to participate in worship.
Every Sunday at 11:25AM we have classes for all children to attend. Just let us know what grade your little sprout is in and we’ll direct the way.
Each summer we have a week long VBS!
Seriously, don’t fret too much. You’ll be loved here.
